Description

A premium quality indoor space-saving staircase kit with hardwood treads and handrail
The kit can easily be assembled by any competent DIY person
The alternating tread design allows the staircase to fit into a much smaller space than a conventional staircase, making it ideal for loft conversions where access is limited
Available as straight flight, or with one or two 1/4 platform landings, for 90 degree or 180 degree of turn
The platforms can be fitted in a variety of locations in the flight, allowing this system to work in really awkward spaces
The standard staircase is suitable for floor-to-floor heights of 2100-2990mm
Additional treads can be ordered to increase the total height to a maximum of 3450mm
The stair width is 600mm
Minimum stairwell size is 1400mm x 700mm
The 40mm treads and handrail are made from solid beech
They are protected with at least two coats of a tough polyurethane varnish for a great looking finish that will last a long time
The 20mm balusters are made from mild steel and are powder coated in either white, grey or black
There is a wide range of useful accessories that include matching landing balustrade and riser bars
Please bear in mind that the staircase must positioned alongside a load bearing wall so that it can be bracketed to the wall
The staircase cannot be used without support from a wall
We recommend customers consult their building control office prior to installing any staircase to check that it fully meets their requirements
